My name is Nicolai Sauer, born and raised in Berlin, where I am still based today.

In my work I always aim to be multidisciplinary, moving between landscape, fashion, beauty, and documentary work. I began my photographic career in 2019 at GLP-Berlin, where I studied photography and graphic design. During this time I not only deepened my understanding of what it means to be a photographer, but also developed a strong interest in landscape and architectural photography. I discovered my attraction to carefully composed images created with clear intent, which continues to shape my visual language till today.

After several years of working and refining my craft, I decided to attend the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie. There I found my passion for fashion photography and developed a deeper appreciation for the documentary style of the last century.
